We want you to be happy with your purchase. You have 14 days from the delivery of the last item in your order to request a return.

How to start a return

All returns are handled through your customer account — there’s no need to email us first.

  1. Sign in at account.puddingcreek.com.
  2. Open your order and choose Request return (or Request cancellation for items that haven’t shipped yet).
  3. Follow the prompts. We’ll review your request and send return instructions and the return address.

Return conditions & costs

To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it — unused and in its original packaging, with any tags or accessories included. You’ll also need your order number or proof of purchase.

  • Return shipping: the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Restocking fee: a 25% restocking fee is deducted from the refund (see the EU exception below).
  • Items sent back without an approved return request will not be accepted.

European Union — 14-day right of withdrawal

If your order is shipped to the European Union (EU/EEA), you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification. Because this is a statutory right, the following applies to EU withdrawal returns and overrides the general terms above:

  • No restocking fee is charged.
  • We refund the full purchase price plus the original standard delivery cost you paid.
  • You are responsible only for the direct cost of returning the item.
  • You may unpack and inspect the item as you would in a shop. We may reduce your refund only for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to check it.
  • Refunds are issued within 14 days of being notified of your withdrawal (we may withhold until the item is returned or you provide proof of return).

To exercise your right of withdrawal, use the cancellation option in your customer account, or email puddingcreek@proton.me with your name and order number.

Damages & issues

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us right away at puddingcreek@proton.me if the item is defective or damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so we can make it right. Return shipping and restocking fees do not apply to items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Non-returnable items

Certain items can’t be returned, including:

  • Personalized or made-to-order items, if offered (such as custom merchandise or special orders)
  • Gift cards
  • Sale or clearance items

If you’re not sure whether your item qualifies, get in touch before requesting a return.

Exchanges

We’re unable to process direct exchanges. The fastest way to get what you want is to return the original item and place a new order once the return is approved.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll let you know whether it was approved. If approved, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. It can take additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you haven’t received it, contact us at puddingcreek@proton.me.

Items purchased from third parties

Items purchased from a third-party seller must be returned directly to that seller. Pudding Creek Rod Shop cannot accept returns for goods bought from any third-party vendor.
